My Decision to Run
I care deeply about the Cedarburg community, from supporting neighbors to local businesses, and especially our schools and youth. I believe that my eight plus years working in the field of education across a range of sectors - always rooted in cutting-edge research, best practices, and effective governance - can help move our school board forward.
Moving our School Board Forward
Foreign Language
I will look to expand foreign language offerings to the elementary grades beginning in 4K.
Elevating Perspectives of District Professionals
I will strive to foster more open dialogue between the board and school district professionals before critical decisions- especially surrounding curriculum and instruction- are made.
Social-Emotional Learning
I will work with board members to ensure curricular resources are in place across all grade levels within the district that meet the needs of our students.
Transparent Communication and Collaboration
Healthy and balanced school governance means listening to and representing our full school community. This is a founding principle of my tenure if elected to the school board.
